Herausforderungen bei der Metallbearbeitung

In metallverarbeitenden Betrieben besagt der Arbeitsschutz, das sogenannte Punktabsaugungen Vorrang haben. Denn nur die Aufnahme von Gefahrstoffen direkt am Entstehungsort garantiert einen hohen Erfassungsgrad gefährlicher Schweiß- und Lötrauche und Staubpartikel. In der Praxis ist dies allerdings nicht immer möglich. Schädlicher Rauch und Staub können in die Halle entweichen. Im Idealfall sind Mitarbeiter beim Schweißen geschützt – dank spezieller Schutzhelme mit automatischer Belüftung und Filterung von Schadstoffen.

Ständiger Arbeitsplatzwechsel, schwer erreichbare Schweißarbeitsplätze oder das Arbeiten an großen Werkstücken machen eine Punktabsaugung allein nicht praktikabel. Eine Hallenlüftung dagegen bietet auch unbeteiligten Mitarbeitern effektiven Schutz und trägt außerdem zur Verbesserung des Innenraumklimas bei. Die ständige Luftumwälzung kann dabei sogar bis zu 70% der Heizkosten einsparen.
