Stationary extraction system using innovative NOVUS technology
Anyone who knows NOVUS already knows, and anyone who is just getting to know us will soon realise that we are rarely satisfied and are always questioning the status quo. Wherever we see potential for optimisation, we want to harness it for our customers. That’s the NOVUS mentality. The upgraded AIRLINE combines our extensive experience with the latest research findings and results from numerous test series.


The NOVUS 3-1 principle
To date, filter cartridges were fitted vertically suspended or horizontally. That’s the standard approach, but not the best solution. Why? The ascend speed within the system prevents effective online dedusting.
In the AIRLINE, the filter cartridges are fitted in a vertical standing position. As a result, the flow direction, gravity and the direction of particle dedusting are virtually aligned. In other words, there is no ascend speed in the raw gas chamber. That’s the NOVUS 3-1 principle in a nutshell.
It allows us to guarantee 100 percent effective online dedusting. As a result, AIRLINE can run 24/7 without problems. Also, the filter cartridges age far slower due to the effective dedusting. This extends the overall service life of the filter package. Low flow resistances and minimal internal pressure losses reduce the power consumption.
How it works
Contaminated air passes through the pipelines into the AIRLINE and is routed towards the filter elements. The air flow is distributed optimally in the raw gas chamber, the 3-1 principle takes effect and the filter cartridges clean the air with a dust reduction efficiency of 99.995 percent. The purified air is then fed back into the room. Optionally, an additional particulate matter filter to filter class H14 can also be installed upstream of the fan unit.



New patented EC turbo unit
AIRLINE is equipped with modern EC fans. Compared with housing fans, EC fans are quieter, more cost-effective and facilitate immediate power control – no frequency inverters required.
In our new drive unit, we combine the potential savings of efficient EC fans with the performance of a housing fan. The patented and unique technology in the NOVUS EC Turbo Unit is only available from us.
As the EC Turbo Unit is also extremely compact, it frees space for other modules, which results in the unique dust discharge of up to 400 litres.

The right way to extract fumes and dust
AIRLINE removes hazardous fumes and dust of all kinds from your working environments. Applications include plasma dust, metal dust, soldering, welding or laser dust. The extractor can be deployed at the workstation itself, right on the machine or in the robot cell.
However, there are different kinds of dust and fumes that must be taken into account. With our years of experience and understanding of extraction and filter technology across multiple sectors, we can find the perfect design to meet your needs. No more and never less.
Flexible design
AIRLINE systems can cope with volume flows from 4,000 m3/h to 10,000 m3/h. By combining multiple units, you can easily reach volume flows up to 60,000 m3/h. Maximum flexibility – tailored for your situation and needs.
Every AIRLINE can be designed with a dedicated control unit. At the same time, a single AIRLINE can be used to control multiple units. Interim solutions are also conceivable.
Only the maximum will do? Where necessary, the control and fan unit can also be removed from the AIRLINE and positioned separately.




Maximum dust discharge
While intelligent dedusting cleans the filter cartridges fully automatically – the 3-1 principles means that this can be done during regular operation – AIRLINE earns bonus points with dust discharge of up to 2 x 200 litres. What more could you ask?
Commercially available standard barrels can be used for the discharge. The barrels can be replaced independently and without tools. They do not need reloading for disposal.
